Sebastian Aleksander, Sr. is a veteran political strategist and government affairs advisor with over two decades of experience navigating the intersection of business, policy, and regulation. He represents clients in highly regulated industries, from telecommunications and manufacturing to technology, healthcare, and education.

Sebastian’s career began in the Florida Senate Majority Office, where he gained early exposure to legislative process and political operations. He later served as Chief Legislative Aide to Rep. Adam Hasner and Political Director to Speaker Designate and House Majority Leader Marco Rubio, advising on strategy, communications, and policy during the rise of a new generation of conservative leadership — one shaped by GOP majorities and the structural shift brought on by Florida’s newly imposed term limits.

He holds dual undergraduate degrees and an MBA, grounding his advisory work in both public policy and business strategy. In 2005, he launched The Aleksander Group to help public and private sector leaders influence outcomes at every level of government. From disaster recovery and regional redevelopment to appropriations strategy and regulatory compliance, his work has directly supported billions in legislative funding, infrastructure investment, and contract procurement.

Sebastian has played a leading role in legislative victories involving preemption, pension reform, parental rights, funding special rescue operations and digital assets. His firm has been nationally recognized by Florida State University and the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship as one of the fastest-growing businesses led by an FSU alum.
