New program to spotlight top businesses of FSU alumni
Florida State University and the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, housed in the College of Business, are creating a new program to recognize successful businesses owned by FSU alumni. The Seminole 100 will celebrate the Top 100 owners who have spearheaded some of the fastest-growing businesses in America.
“On FSU’s campus and throughout the State of Florida, important work is being done to educate students on how to become leading entrepreneurs,” said Randy Blass, executive director of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship. “Seminole 100 will highlight the results of that rigorous academic environment, and it will demonstrate the entrepreneurial ingenuity instilled at FSU.”
The program is open to privately held businesses owned by FSU alumni that generated revenues of at least $100,000 in 2013 and at least $2 million in 2016.
